Screenplay Writer
Urmi Juvekar is one of the most coveted and contemporary writers of India. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a documentary film writer and director. She made her screenwriting debut with the feature film Darmiyaan.
She also made a short film, The Shillong Choir, based on an Indian chamber choir. Since then she has written several acclaimed feature films including Shararat, Rules: Pyaar ka Superhit Formula, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! , I Am , Shanghai and Detective Byomkesh Bakshi which received wide critical and commercial success.
